The Closed Skip Technology has been specifically designed to minimise environmental impact throughout the loading process. The skip remains closed during transit and is only opened at designated points within the loading cycle:

• Opened at the loading point to receive cargo.
• Closed during transit between the quayside and vessel.
• Automatically opened when discharging cargo into the vessel hatch.
• Automatically closed again before returning to the quayside.

This controlled loading process significantly reduces cargo spillage, dust emissions and material losses, resulting in a cleaner,  safer and more environmentally responsible operations while supporting regulatory compliance and enhancing sustainable port practices.
